DAY 10: SHOW UP BRAVE

Being brave is being scared. When you have big stuff to do, it makes sense you have big feelings, too.

SKILL

You have skills that have gotten you this far. Your job is to use them at the edge of your comfort zone. It's only there where you skill set will expand.

BELIEF

Belief that your SKILL will apply to harder situations is built on all the reps you've already done. There are feelings and there are facts. Believe the facts.

ACTION

Action is what you do based on your belief in what you CAN do. This is where bravery lives. It's not random. It's rooted in what you believe you can do.

We call this the CRUSH IT LOOP. Keep building skill, so your belief in that skill grows, and so your willingness to take action (beyond your comfort zone) because of your belief in your skill grows.

FEAR

REFLECTION

Vulnerability is bravery.

  • I do well with change and taking things seriously.
  • To feel confident in my skills as a player and to know that I am good.
  • I want to be a college lacrosse player.
  • Peace.
  • I want to love myself and have confidence in my abilities while improving my abilities so I can have more confidence in them. I also want to be happy and hard working. I want to be proud of the person I am, while still striving to be better.
  • To prove everyone wrong that I am good enough and people have made mistakes on stuff they’ve done and decisions they made involving me.

  • I’m not a good enough lacrosse player.
  • That I am doing my best, when sometimes I am not.
  • One would probably thinking that when I’m playing against a rough team I’m not sure I if I can play defense against them so my mind says I can’t and then I don’t do good.
  • I tell myself that I am not worthy or deserving of my successes or that I am just lucky when something goes well.
  • I am not good enough to be on the teams I’m on.
  • Probably saying I can’t do something. If I really try I could. I just don’t. For example: Running, reading, etc.
