DAY 2: HEALTH SYSTEMS

To CRUSH IT as a busy + awesome teenager, you need to manage ALL of your HEALTH SYSTEMS. No one is more important than the other, rather, they are interconnected, they overlap, and each is critical to your performance.

PHYSICAL 

All things related to your body, like fueling, hydration, sleep, stretching, stress, recovery, strength, flexibility, balance, etc.

MENTAL

The state of your brain as an effective operating system, especially regarding emotional, psychological, and social well-being.

EMOTIONAL

This is how we think and feel. Emotional health is influenced by stress, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, no sleep, etc.

Athletes push their physical bodies to the limits. It would NOT ba a good idea to transfer those habits to address mental and emotional health. Nurturing, maintaining, and strengthening all three will help your all-around performance and promote sustainable lifelong habits.
