DAY 7: GROWTH SYSTEMS

So often, we do not look at the systems that promote well-being. Each of these helps you to focus on the value of your life and hard work.

JOY

Even in pain, in sadness, and anxiety, you can hold small pockets of joy. Use this as a spark, a lifeline, a bite of something great.

PASSION

When we are passionate about something, it fuels our intrinsic motivation, curiosity, and long-term devotion.

IMPROVEMENT

For all time, humans have sought to gain skills and accumulate experience. As athletes, you get incredible daily practice at this!

What brings Taylor joy outside of lacrosse is doing her art:

WHEN YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU WANT

GO AFTER IT

Cory Samaras Griffeth started that tourney 15 years ago. It started with only 10 girls teams and she grew it to 450+ girls and boys teams in 2022.

Before all that though, she was just a girl playin' lax in college and trying to get her priorities straight.
