CCLaxĀ x Brave: The Partnership
This partnership is designed to bring mental toughness and resilience training to CCLax athletes.
Throughout the collaboration, players will learn skills that translate into increased resilience, confident risk-taking, and stronger on-field performance—all while deepening connection to their teammates and the club’s core values.
Brave will be onsite with players on two occasions:

What we know.
This is a briefĀ summary of our findings after nearly 10 years of work, 20,000 participants, and over 550 sessions nationwide.
Bravery and confidence begin to drop at 9 years old.
Bravery and confidence are correlated.
Kid fears are different than adult fears.
Our biggest fear (by far) is failure.
Data Capture
Brave uses data to inform our programming. In order to bring the best experiences to every group, we rely on quantitative and qualitative responses to inform how we tailor the work. We never share data and useĀ matched surveys from both pre- and post-session surveys to create a Brave Analysis.
[PLAYER]Ā Pre-Survey
ThisĀ surveyĀ will be used to gather baseline measures that will help us to determine efficacy of impact in the short and long term.
NOTE: Name is required to track player progress.

Take [COACH] Pre-Survey![PARENT] Survey
Parent data allows us to better understand the community in order to deploy resources that are relevant and thus, helpful.Ā
NOTE:Ā Name is optional, but other demographical data is required.

Take [PARENT] Post-Survey!How we use our data.
WeĀ design our experiences to help people practice in their fear, providing relevant reps for real life.
Our data set is growing rapidly, providing invaluable insight on how people feel, fear, and brave. This information allows us to iterate our programming for maximum impact.
WeĀ prioritize fun through experiential learning, helping people understand, move through and build tools to manage their fear.Ā
Bravery is an all-terrain skill. That is, you can learn it now and use it in every aspect of your life. Sports are a great way to learn bravery >>
